The weekend attracts in excess or 800 amateur theatre enthusiasts
from the Region and tickets are always very much in demand. Until
2006 this had been held at the Spa Royal Hall & Theatre Complex in
Bridlington, but due to major refurbishment of the venue we moved to
the Spa Complex in Scarborough for 3 years from 206 to 2008. We do not
as yet know whether 2009 (24th to 26th April) will be back in Bridlington
or once again in Scarborough.
District Evenings - most of the Regional Reps organise a NODA Evening,
giving societies in their region a chance to get to know each other and
hear a guest speaker. The current programme of meetings feature Weapons
Legislation and the NODA Strategic Plan to 2012.
Directory of production teams - the Region does have details of many
directors, MDs and choreographers and is able to help societies that
are looking for directors etc. - please contact
your Regional Representative.
