Youth Theatre – Workshop

Frantic Assembly Workshop North East

In partnership with NAYT, Frantic Assembly is working to support the development of excellence in physical theatre for youth theatre.

Led by one of Frantic Assembly’s Creative Associates, we can offer a 3 hour workshop for youth theatre leaders plus on the same day a free 3 hour workshop for youth theatre members (14+).

These workshops offer a chance to explore new devising techniques, find ways of creating choreography for groups of all abilities, build physical confidence and learn new techniques in a safe, energetic and fun atmosphere.

They will be held at the NAYT Associate Venue for your region.

When is it? Saturday 18 September

What time? Youth theatre leaders workshop: 10am – 1pm Youth theatre members workshop: 2pm – 5pm

Where is it? Darlington Arts Centre Vane Terrace Darlington DL3 7AX

Who can participate? Youth theatre leaders / youth theatre members (minimum age 14) Complete beginners welcome!

Please bear in mind the physical and movement based nature of this workshop.

Participants must be advised to wear loose and comfortable clothing and trainers suitable for exercise. NO jeans, NO jewellery and NO short skirts.

How much does it cost? £30 per youth theatre leader, free for youth theatre members. You are responsible for sorting your own travel and food.
